Central Kentucky Adult Baseball Association (CKABA) ia a non-profit organization. CKABA provides a recreational/competitive adult baseball league.

The league currently includes two age group divisions 45+ & 60+. Teams replicate MLB names & uniforms.

Central Kentucky Adult Baseball Association was back in action at the Elizabethtown Sports Park today. On field 9 it was the Yankees and the Dodgers. The Yankees would strike first with scoring 3 runs in the first and 4 runs in the second inning. Goins, Ditto and Ramsey would have multiple hits for for the Yankees.

The Dodgers spread the scoring out and took the game over in the later innings as Jason Schurr would lead his team scoring four times. Kevin Francis would compile 3 hits as Lawson, Bowen and Walker would each have multiple hits.

The mound was full of CKABA stars as Bernett and Schurr pitched for the Dodgers and Andrews, Marcum and Ramsey was there for the Yankees.

The Dodgers defeat the Yankees 13-9.

On field 11 it was the Cubs and the Red Sox. Tony Cobb would make a couple of visits to the mound along with Fprwengler and Spanton.
The Red Sox struck first in the third inning as Tom Day would score and Moe Bauman would be forced out trying to steal home. The Cubs were scoreless through two innings but would explode for 5 runs in the third and three in the fifth inning.

Borrego and Hidalgo would combine for multiple hits for the Cubs but it would be Diosmel Solano that would hold the Red Sox to only one run in six innings of play with a complete game. More impressive for Solano is that he offered up no walks in his first CKABA appearance. The Cubs were first to add players to their roster after June 1st.

The Cubs defeat the Red Sox 9-1.

The Louisville Gray’s defeated the
E-town Sluggers today 8-7 at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. The Gray’s were led by Joe Ford with 2 singles and 2 RBI’s. Jose Cabrera started the game strong but Bobby Blair would finish the game for the Gray’s.
The E-town Sluggers were led by Moe Bauman on the mound as he pitched 3 strong innings before relief by Jarrett and Meadors. Bauman returns to the mound and provides 2 more scoreless innings in the 6th & 7th innings. Defensively Meadors was strong as Lonnie Furnish provided the offense with a bases loaded double off the wall driving in 2 runs.
