๐ญ Who are you?
I played football locally at North Hardin and then in college for University of Louisville and Western Kentucky. I played club soccer up until high school because my Mom wouldnโt let me play football. Once my daughters showed an interest in soccer, I became fully dedicated to the sport and learning as much as I can. I have my 7v7, 9v9 & 11v11 Grassroots certificate, D License and currently getting my C license with US Soccer.
๐ What do you want to achieve?
I want to be a mentor and role model for kids. I believe sports saved my life when I was young and prepared me for so many different situations as an adult. And I feel like itโs my time to give back to the kids in our community.

A youth head coach is more than just a trainer. They are a mentor, a motivator, and a role model for young athletes. They teach them not only the skills and tactics of the game, but also the values and attitudes of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. In today's Meet Me, meet...Chad Johnson.
๐ญ Who are you?
Iโve played and loved the game of soccer since I was a child. Still somewhat new to coaching with about 4 years under my belt, 2 of them being at the compet level.
๐ What do you want to achieve?
First and foremost, I want to foster a love for the game. Statistics say that 70% of children quit playing sports by age 13, and I strive to be a part of the solution to lower that number. I have had the privilege of playing for many great coaches who pushed me, mentored me and had a positive impact in my life by being a great role model, and now itโs my time to pay it forward. Coaching at the youth level, you see many kids set goals for themselves. If I play a role in helping them achieve those goals, whatever they may be, then I feel I have taken advantage of my opportunity to coach these kids. This sport has provided me with many great opportunities, on and off the field, and now Iโm excited to see that come to fruition for the next generation.
