E-town Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing

Josh will be teaching most Thursday morning classes this summer. Including tomorrow at 8am! Come join us for some side control work!

2 solid books on grappling specific physical conditioning. 👍🏼 I haven't finished the catch wrestling book yet and I don't agree with everything ( anti guard work) but there is some good stuff and some good principles.

The four laws of hand 2 hand combat
1. Conditioning is your strongest hold
2. Balance (base ,posture, mobility)
3. Timing is the right thing at the right moment
4. Leverage is maximizing efficiency

Outside of our association I choose to not teach a lot. But I always enjoy heading to Dayton to share the mats with the SOMA crew! Top to bottom a professional organization!
This time around I will share my leg attack philosophy and some systems I enjoy!

Monday night is parent participation class for 6pm youth Jiu-Jitsu students and parents. We will be in the blue room with more space. 6pm adult Gracie Jiu-Jitsu class will meet in the smaller grey room.

Sharing this for Professor Matherly. Hugo is who fought Rickson in the famous beach fight. He also fought in the UFC. A legend in Brazil during the times of the Luta Livre vs Jiu-Jitsu street and ring fights. Luta Livre is where many of the front chokes came from.
