Last month, the Elizabethtown Public Library sponsored the Lego Block Party in conjunction with the Downtown Business Committee of the Chamber. It's a great example of how our businesses come together to provide events and support to the community!

Yesterday, I was able to see 1st hand how much the community appreciates these events when 3 little boys stopped by the Chamber office with a homemade thank you card! They told me stories about building their Lego spaceships and how they have also entered Lego builds in the Elizabethtown Fair. They were full of excitement telling me all about walking around downtown for the Lego Block Party and what stores they went in!

"E-Dance center provides a variety of dance classes for ages 3-adult, including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, clogging, hip hop, pop video, jazz funk, modern, lyrical, musical theater, broadway tap, technique & fitness classes."

I just want to take a minute to personally say Thank You E-Dance Center staff & families. Show time is always so hectic and busy, but when you found out about my medical emergency and limitations, you truly cared and added to your own schedules to help us. From supporting Amber, taking over to assist in dressing room and also making her birthday extra special. Your assistance to making it possible for me to attend Saturdays show was so much appreciated. So many hugs and support just warmed my heart. So blessed to be part of the E-Dance Family. The show was amazing and we all loved it. ❤️👍

E-Town's 2nd Friday Grease Lightnin' event was a hit!!! These dancers traveled the streets of E-town performing a fun Grease Lightnin' dance. We had so much fun! What an amazing night at National Night Out! We had such a great time dancing 2 numbers on stage, 12 Hiphop B dancers and a older trio, we ate great food and handed out of 700 prizes to kiddos in our community! It was a wonderful community event.

As some of you might know, my final day as owner of e-dance center is fast approaching. It's hard to believe it has been 18 years since I started the school and 20 years of teaching dance. What an amazing adventure and gift to have had this opportunity to dance with so many wonderful people over the years. I will always cherish the people and friends that have been made in this dance community.

While I'm very excited for my next life chapter, I have very much enjoyed working with each of you and I am excited to see you dance, have fun and make life long friends and dance memories for years to come.

I'm thrilled, grateful, and very excited for Camille Gubbins who will be the new owner of e-dance center starting June 12. I know she will continue to keep it an outstanding place to dance in the community. Her energy, great organizational skills, personality, talent in dance and in the arts make her a wonderful fit as the new owner and director.

I would be thrilled to see past students and friends of e-dance center at the upcoming shows tomorrow, Friday, June 9 at 6PM, Saturday, June 10 at 6PM and Sunday, June 11 at 3PM. Please come celebrate the past 18 years with me.
