Freeman Lake Tennis Complex

Freeman Lake courts are reserved this Saturday for the middle school state tournament. It will be used from 7:30am til about 8:30pm.

So thankful we have a facility and a tennis community who support youth tennis. We had a wonderful Halloween themed event this past Monday and now we have an opportunity to host middle school players from throughout the Commonwealth. Thanks for your support of youth tennis.

Congratulations to team captain Jennifer Corbin and her USTA tri-level teams! After an outstanding weekend of tennis at the State Tournament, they have advanced to Sectionals in the 18+, 40+, and 55+ tri-level ladies doubles. They were crowned League Champs in both the 18+ and 55+ divisions and came in second place in the 40+ division. Joining her from Etown are Patty Coakley, Linda Nason, Saadia Qureshi, and Vemihan Qaisi. Thank you, ladies, for representing the Elizabethtown tennis community so well on such a large stage! Good Luck at Sectionals in Bowling Green October 13-15!

CKTS - Central Kentucky Tennis Series The Tennis Tour of Central Kentucky

We are starting middle school and high school fall leagues this week. They were not in the original AUGUST calendar and we will use quite a few courts.

Middle school will be Tuesday 5:00-6:30 using 6-7 courts this week.
High school will be Thursday 4:30-6:30 using 7-8 courts this week.

The ETC also ask that no tennis pros give lessons at the lake at those times so the other courts are available for the public?

We are excited about a new ETC approved Tennis Opportunity!Tom Orlowski wants to start 50+ Tennis Match Play opportunity. It will begin Monday May 8that Freeman Lake at 10am. There is no cost to participate, but each participant is asked to bring a new can of balls each time they attend.

The Central Hardin match has been moved to 1pm with the athletes set to have the courts for warm-up at 12:30. I am posting here so that if the community desire to play, they can know the courts will be open in the morning now. The match was originally scheduled for 9am.

For the week of March 13th -18th Freeman Lake Courts will be used by the local high schools on

Wed March 15 5:00 pm match

Thursday March 16 4 pm match

Friday March 17th 4:30 match

Saturday March 18 10 am match and 2 pm match.
