Congrats to Laramie Thetford! I hope you fly away on your scooter 🛵 We had a total of 104 entries this last Saturday here at the hallowed Beutler Bros Arena in Elk City, OK! We deeply appreciate the arena committee allowing us to have an event here, not having to drive miles as we chip away on the 2026 tour was a nice change!
Community Connection and KS Farms baked their hearts out, the businesses that donated items locally, and our WR side pot that went to fighting cancer, the people who donated all together brought in $2,324 dollars that all went straight to Ollie! Kristen Cloud jumped in willingly and handled the donations and ran the fundraiser at the event like a pro.
I can’t wait to look back in two years and see what this will grow us all into as a team, and provide for these areas with a chance to hopefully continue to give back in the communities. Lane is on a mission and he has had his work cut out for him but I’m excited to watch him grow as he continues to pour his heart into all this and these places next couple of years too.
As always it takes a crew. Erica Evans, Abby Schmidt, Dalton Hurlburt, Tiereny Schneberger, Jyme Nichols, Bryan Nichols did outstanding barrel setting. We had some phenomenal help running the office with several people during the event, Kimmy handled everything in-between, and Lane work hard on the ground. It takes a crew speaking of crew a storm was coming in and the people that jumped on to help break down THANK YOU truly! THANK YOU!
