Elk Grove Thunder 12u Select - Tyrrell

Last night we were knocked out of the tournament. So much softball in the last week, the girls were hurting and feeling it. I am beyond proud of their effort, dedication, determination and drive. These young women hopefully made memories this season that will last a lifetime. By far the most challenging age anyone can coach, but these are the years that having positive role models matter most. I take the digs at how coach is not styling and may not know half of what they are talking about. But in the end of the day, I hope to enstill that I may be old but I am a leader who will never ask them to do something I won't do too. I led them by example and try to show them that having fun, not caring what others think and never giving up is what matters most. Playing with heart will carry you further in this game of softball more than anything else! These 12 girls have taught this coach some new things, I am growing with them and for that I am forever greatful to be called Coach Nicole 💙🥎😊 Congratulations Elk Grove Thunder 12u Select - Tyrrell for a fantastic season!

We came up with a victory in our last pool play game of Western Nationals! Very proud of these girls for putting in the work to get the win.🥎💙

Our Pool Play games for Western Nationals have been set for next week! We play some pretty tough teams, but looking forward to the challenge! It all starts with opening ceremonies in Roseville on Monday night.

Yesterday our awesome team had some fun participating in team building activities at the Sacramento State University Challenge Course. Super proud of these ladies who worked together to accomplish a lot.

Eg Thunder goes 2-1 in pool play yesterday. Today's Gold bracket games start for us at 11:30am @ Mills Middle School vs. Cordova Fury. Let's go Thunder!!

The 12u Thunder select team took the Silver Championship at this weekends Piece of the Rock tournament in Rocklin. The girls worked really hard for this. Our 1st championship win as a Thunder 12u team!

Elk Grove Thunder goes 1-1 in last nights pool play games for Piece of the Rock. The fun continues today 6pm @ kathy Lund park in Rocklin field 4. We face off against the 12u Cordova Fury!
