Ethan had a great weekend at Grappling X, bringing home 4 wins with 4 submissions across Gi and No Gi!

Ethan is on the mats every single day putting in the work. His dedication to training and willingness to keep improving are a big part of why he continues to find success in competition.

Results like this don’t happen by accident. They’re earned through all the hours spent training when nobody is watching. It’s been awesome seeing his hard work pay off, and we’re excited to see how far he continues to go.

Who says you can’t train hard and have fun at the same time?

That’s one of the things we love about AGA. We take our jiujitsu seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. The friendships built on these mats are a big part of what makes our academy special. There’s always room for a good laugh, even after a tough round.

Student of the Week: Alex!

Congratulations to Alex, last week’s Student of the Week!

Alex has been one of our most consistent students, showing up regularly and putting in the work to improve his jiu-jitsu. Over time, we’ve watched him grow from the junior group into the advanced group, a transition he’s earned through his dedication and hard work.

It’s been great seeing his confidence and skills develop on the mats. We’re proud of how far he’s come and excited to see him continue progressing.

A little late recognizing our Student of the Week, Jaxon! He snuck out early a couple Thursdays ago before we had a chance to give him his recognition, so we’re finally catching up!

Jaxon has been doing an awesome job on the mats. He works hard every class and is a great listener. It’s been really cool watching how much he’s starting to understand jiu-jitsu and seeing that show in his training. He’s always respectful of his teammates and works well with everyone.

He continues to improve week after week, and we’re excited to see how far he goes. Great job, Jaxon!

Halloween 2026 was a success! Thanks to everyone who came out and brought snacks to share. The costumes were amazing this year, and the kids had a blast with the new games we added, especially limbo and musical chairs.
