Coaches Award: Michael aka Joe Dirt presented by Coach Mike for coming back after two nearly season ending injuries, always watch ins at practice and learning. Setting a goal to win first match at League Championships against rival Woodland High. Thus earning his way to Divisional’s.

Coaches Award: Freddy presented by Coach Kraft for his never give up attitude, fighting back in closes matches and earning 2 defensive pins, one that punched his ticket to Divisional’s.

Coaches Award: Kyris presented by Coach Lewis for showing excellent team work and leadership. Kyris helped Yvette understand a series of drills that we were working on, moves that Yvette missed during Christmas break. Without anyone telling her and without holding the title of captain, Kyris helped out a fellow teammate, and prepared d her for the regional tournament.

2022-23 Outstanding Wrestlers.

Kaia Varsity Girls Outstanding Wrestler for earning the most team points and qualifying for Masters.

Cael Varsity Boys Outstanding Wrestler for earning the most team points and qualifying for Masters.

Cael was also voted GEL Outstanding wrestler by all 7 Head Coaches, when he became League Champion

Sadly the 2022-23 Season has ended at day one of SJS Masters. Both Cale and Kaia wrestled tough matches both going 1-2.

The all winter sports awards night will be Thursday February 23rd, 6PM in the GYM. If you order team photos, you will pick them up then. We are limited to the amour of time we can present awards so only 2 awards will be given out. The rest will be given out at our team dinner and awards night, on March 2nd at Mountain Mikes.
