Congratulations Mila!!
After much thought and deliberation, we decided to create a new position at the barn for a hardworking, responsible, junior rider. Mila has been with Hoofbeats since June 2021, where she took her very first lesson at just 9 years old! She has been a working student for 3 years, and knows all the ins and outs of the barn and the horses, so who better?!
Mila will be helping oversee our other working students, training new ones, and helping keep our program in tip-top shape.

Every year we elect 2 of our jr riders to be captain/jr Captain of the show team, giving them a bit more responsibility at home and during shows, taking a leadership role to assist, encourage, and support their fellow team from the barn to the show grounds. This year looked a little different, but these two kids deserve their own official post. Two of the hardest working riders, ready to jump in to help anyone at any time. Always taking initiative, making sure the horses are taken care of before themselves, helping keep riders on schedule, stepping in to school extra horses/ponies, and being the biggest cheerleaders for everybody.
