At Kang's ATA Self Defense, the practice of martial arts means respecting, encouraging and supportin We have martial arts programs for students of all ages.
For children, our emphasis is on character development and physical fitness. With adults, our goal is to deliver all of the benefits of martial arts, including improved muscle tone, increased cardiovascular fitness, lower stress levels, increased energy, and greater flexibility. Dear Parents and Students,
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our Chief Master Kang.
Yesterday November 22nd, around 3:30 pm, my father lost his battle against cancer. He passed away comfortably at home in his sleep. Until the very last moment, he never lost his smile, hope, and continued to encourage the family. He assured all of us that we'll gather again as a family in heaven. It was a blessing to spend the time together and an honor to see him so strong in his last days.
Due to the loss, the studio will be closed coming Monday (11/28) and Tuesday (11/29).
We have scheduled the funeral service for Chief Master Kang on Sunday, 11/27 at 4pm.

We had a first workout this morning and have learned so much from him. It was a total blast!
