The crowd felt the years of pride and joy coming from Nate-Dogg when the new rank was tied to his waist. - - He later assured me he was actually surprised 🎉

Luiz Palhares (8th degree BJJ black belt) will be back in Elkhorn for a 2 hour seminar on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Master Palhares is a BJJ legend who was trained directly by the Gracie family (Rolls and Rickson). He possesses a wealth of knowledge that all BJJ enthusiasts can benefit from. Participants of all levels and from all local schools are welcome to attend.

ASKJ will be holding a Judo Clinic on Sunday, May 3rd from 11:00am–12:00pm. These clinics will be offered once every 1-2 months and are open to all adult students (and junior black belts). Whether you’re brand new to Judo or looking to sharpen your existing skills, these sessions are designed to benefit practitioners of all levels. Just bring your gi and come ready to learn.
