🏁 A HUGE SHOUTOUT FROM JBR RACING! 🏁

While we celebrated our Modified Track Championship this past weekend, we also want to take a moment to recognize Chuck & Nicole Melton and the entire Friendship Motor Speedway staff for everything they’ve done this season!

Opening a race track back up and giving us local drivers a place to race close to home takes countless hours of hard work, restless nights, sacrifices, and dedication. Running a race track is NOT an easy job, and dealing with racers every single week definitely comes with its own challenges!

Through it all, this team continued to work hard week in and week out to give us a place to race, compete, and do what we love. That kind of commitment doesn’t go unnoticed!

As a local team, JBR truly appreciates the opportunity to race right here close to home. We know firsthand how much time, money, and effort it takes to keep these cars on the track, and we can only imagine what it takes to keep an entire speedway running!

What a season! 💪🔥

Race Recap: Night 2 of the NC State Championship with the Mid-East Modified Tour!

We unloaded with good speed and qualified P4! Unfortunately, while running 3rd in the feature, we made contact with another car, got into the outside wall, and cut the right-front tire, bringing our night to an early end. Just one of those racing deals! We hate ending the season that way, but that’s racing!

BUT THE BIG PICTURE IS WHAT MATTERS! 🏆

This season was filled with plenty of ups and downs, but through all the late nights in the shop, hard work, and dedication, it all paid off! We’re proud to walk away as the MODIFIED TRACK CHAMPIONS at Friendship Motor Speedway! 🏆

🏁 NIGHT 1 RECAP! 🏁

JBR came out swinging last night at Friendship Motor Speedway! 💪🔥

We unloaded with decent speed and made some wholesale changes after hot laps, but unfortunately, we went the wrong direction heading into qualifying. We ended up P6 out of 24 cars! After qualifying, we found a spring issue and got it corrected before the feature.

We rolled off P6 in the feature and battled our way to a P2 FINISH! 🏆💥 We’ll take that momentum and carry it into TODAY as we go to battle for a TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP! 🏁🔥

One more night. One more fight. LET’S GO GET US A CHAMPIONSHIP! 💪🏆

🏁 RACE RECAP! 🏁

JBR made the trip to Friendship Motor Speedway last night for some weekly racing action! 🔥

After throwing a brand-new setup at the car over the past couple of weeks, we really didn’t know what to expect heading into the night. We unloaded and went straight to work!

💨 Hot Lap/Qualifying: P2
🏁 Heat Race: P1 🏆
🔥 Feature: P3

We started P2 in the feature and had our sights set on the win! A late-race restart gave us one more shot at it, but the car got a little too tight and we had to settle for a P3 finish.

Not the result we came for, but a strong night for JBR and a lot of progress with the new setup! We’ll get everything sorted out, go back to work in the shop, and come back stronger and ready to fight for that win! 💪🔥
