Today we hosted 48 teams in our annual Elkins Invitational XC meet. Thank you to all our volunteers for making the meet a huge success! We appreciate your hard work!
Here are the results:
The SR High Girls team finished 5th in the 4-5A division. 134 participants were in this 5K event.
🏅London Shofner finished 9th in 4-5A and 29th overall with a time of 22:41.
Abilene Shepherd finished 25th in 4-5A and 76th overall with a time of 26:30.
Olivia Thiry finished 26th in 4-5A and 78th overall with a time of 26:35.
Amelia Beshoner finished 30th in 4-5A and 87th overall with a time of 27:21.
Ava Linde finished 31st in 4-5A and 89th overall with a time of 27:36.
The SR high boys also finished 5th in the 4-5A division. There were 181 participants in this 5K event.
🏅Kaden Kunz finished 14th in 4-5A and 42nd overall with a time of 18:40.
🏅Luke Mangrum finished 15th in 4-5A and 51st overall with a time of 19:07.
Hayden Cotner finished 27th in 4-5A and 101st overall with a time of 20:56.
Eric Nowlin finished 28th in 4-5A and 102nd overall with a time of 21:04.
Jeremiah Putnam finished 31st in 4-5A and 110th overall with a time of 21:22.
Josh Bailey finished 33rd in 4-5A and 119th overall with a time of 21:53.
The 2 mile girls event had 349 participants. Here are the results for the Junior High Girls:
Palmer Posey finished 159th overall with a time of 18:22.
Emma Bailey finished 240th overall with a time of 21:22.
The JR high Boys team finished 4th in 4-5A. The 2 mile event had 365 participants.
🏅Carter Downum finished 5th in 4-5A and 16th overall with a time of 12:25.
🏅Jack Johnson finished 7th in 4-5A and 20th overall with a time of 12:28.
🏅Will Rogers finished 10th in 4-5A and 27th overall with a time of 12:46.
Kyle Haydon finished 32nd in 4-5A and 128th overall with a time of 14:39.
Luke Whooten finished 40th in 4-5A and 144 overall with a time of 14:55.
Arthur Schulke finished 49th in 4-5A and 200th overall with a time of 16:04.
Rylee Polsten finished 70th in 4-5A and 310th overall with a time of 19:31.
Aramis McDonald finished 316 overall with a time of 19:37.

Luke Putnam finished 9th of 34 runners.
