This morning we ran the 9/11 We Run To Remember to honor the lives of the 2,977 lives lost in September 11, 2001. We ran 3.8 miles to symbolically represents the journey up and down the Twin Tower. We will always remember!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Thanks Fleet Feet Huntsville/Madisonfor having this free event for the Community

Chloe sent me this workout late yesterday afternoon. We had church last night, God comes 1st, so Kristen and I decided to do it as our workout this morning although the 5th anniversary of their deaths was yesterday.We skipped the warmup but had enough energy after the 13 sets to do it.
We called one of the 13 fallen’s name before each set.

I’m picky on what races I run since I run very few anymore but I’m glad I chose MidCity 5K. What an awesome race and what friendly people but I shouldn’t expect anything less since Huntsville is my hometown.

My Aunt Connie Butler made me a quilt out of my Marathon Shirts to hang in my workout/music room.
I only really wore 2 of these shirts.
My Boston 2016 still had the tags on it.

Local walkers or runners. I know there is the Rocket City Marathon on this same date with a 10k but if you are not running that one come out and support your local community. This is the same course of the Elkmont Rails to Trails 10k. They are trying to get a race series going so come out and support it if you can. You can walk it, if not run it. Elkmont Cross-Country & Track. I’m not involved with this one just trying to help get the word out.
