The biggest night of the season at Elko Speedway is almost here — Thunderstruck 93!

On September 12th, Bryan Wrolstad and the No. 13 LG Trucking Inc. Late Model will roll onto the track looking to accomplish something we’ve been chasing for a long time, a Thunderstruck 93 victory.

We’ve won races at Elko. We’ve had fast race cars. We’ve experienced the highs and lows that come with a full season of short-track racing.

But this one is different.

🎸🏁 LESS THAN TWO WEEKS until the BIGGEST event of the season — !

And it’s finally time to officially reveal the No. 66 QA1 / Schatz Real Estate Late Model! 👀🔥

You’ll get to see this beauty in person on September 12th at Elko Speedway! A huge thank you to Billy at Dan Fredrickson Signs & Graphics for bringing this car to life and absolutely knocking it out of the park.

After roughly 25 YEARS, Joe “Bundy” Prusak will be back behind the wheel of a Late Model at Elko Speedway.

Thunderstruck 93 could very well be the biggest race of his career — and while Bundy may not be the youngest driver in the field, he’s already shown that he hasn’t lost his touch and can still hold a pretty wheel. 🏁

We came up just a bit short, but you couldn’t ask for more after 25 laps of clean, side‑by‑side racing for the lead—never touched once.

Partnership with our friends at Prusak Racing! Looking forward to seeing the No.66 return to Elko Speedway 🏁

Joe knows! Joe Prusak will be making a long anticipated return to Elko Speedway for the in collaboration with Wrolstad Racing, bringing his No. 66 back to asphalt after some time spent on the dirt. The Clayton, Wisconsin driver will be ready to roll on September 12, will you?

Not the night we had hoped for at Elko Speedway.

We started on the pole for the Dwain Behrens Memorial 80-lap feature and spent the entire first half of the race running P2.

During the halfway pit stop, we made a couple of minor adjustments, expecting to free the car up through the center of the corner. Unfortunately, we didn’t fire off quite how we wanted on the restart and eventually settled into P6.

Over the final stretch, the handling of the car really began to go away, resulting in a P7 finish.

We learned post-race that a fellow competitor had a minor mechanical issue and was laying down transmission fluid directly in front of us. Just part of racing sometimes, we’ll take what we learned and move forward.

We’ll regroup, keep working, and come back eager to be better 🏁
