Kent Island Running Group

Kent Island Running Group is a non-profit organization, founded in 2009, and has been growing ever since.

Our mission is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle while supporting local charities and organizations for the betterment of our community. The Kent Island Running Group was founded in November 2009 by a group of Cross Island Trail "regulars" who wanted to meet the other "regulars.” Since then an informal weekly group run on Saturday mornings has begun.

KIRG competed at the Frederick Market Street Mile and the Skipjack Run 5k/10k this morning 🏃‍♀️🏃Congratulations to all the participants and to our age group winners 🏆
