Can always count of tills to keep me humble in these hard days 😂😂😂💜💜💜💜💜
Almost 34 weeks
With both of my pregnancies, I’ve had gestational diabetes no matter how healthy I’ve eaten or how active I’ve been placenta seems to get me everytime 😂😂💜While I can’t control everything, I can control how I take care of my body. That’s why I’m continuing to lift weights and stay active—to help maintain as much muscle as I can, support a healthy pregnancy, and prepare my body for recovery.
It definitely hasn’t been easy. Some days the motivation just isn’t there, and today was one of those days.
So I let my 3-year-old take over and create my workout. 😂 Of course, she picked all my least favorite exercises, but she also reminded me that movement doesn’t have to be serious to be meaningful.
Today’s workout wasn’t about lifting the heaviest or having the perfect session. It was simply about moving my body, making memories with my little girl, and showing up anyway. ❤️💪

one of the most raw moments I can share with you, being in one of my most vulnerable seasons of life. Feeling strong in other ways then just under the bar today.
This season has been one of the most humbling of my life.
The weights are lighter. The workouts are slower. My balance is different. Recovery takes longer. Thanks to relaxin, my joints and ligaments are loosening to prepare my body for birth, which means I have to train smarter, not harder.
Some days I miss the strength I had before pregnancy.
But then I look over… and my 3-year-old is right beside me.
She isn’t watching how much weight is on the bar. She isn’t keeping track of my PRs. She’s watching her mom choose to move her body, take care of herself, and keep showing up—even when it’s hard.
That reminder changes everything.
I’m not working out because I need to prove something. I’m working out because I want to stay as healthy and strong as possible for this baby, prepare my body for labor and recovery, and show my girls that exercise is a celebration of what our bodies can do—not a punishment for what they look like.
The truth is, pregnancy is humbling. You don’t always recognize your body. Progress looks different. Your ego has to take a back seat.
But maybe that’s where the biggest growth happens.
Because strength isn’t always measured by the weight on the bar. Sometimes it’s choosing consistency when motivation is low. Sometimes it’s modifying instead of quitting. Sometimes it’s simply showing up.
If my daughters grow up remembering that their mom moved her body because she loved it—not because she hated it… if they learn that health matters in every season, even the difficult ones… then every interrupted workout, every modification, and every slower pace will have been worth it.
The little eyes watching us today become the habits they carry tomorrow.
And that’s a legacy I’m proud to build. 🤍

• Supports better posture as your body changes
• Can improve energy, mood, and sleep
• Helps maintain muscle and healthy weight gain
• May lower risk of gestational diabetes & high blood pressure
• Speeds up postpartum recovery
✨ Benefits for Baby:

• Research shows exercise during pregnancy may benefit baby’s heart health and brain development
• Creates a healthier environment in the womb overall
Pregnancy isn’t the time to “prove” anything — it’s the time to move with intention, strength, and respect for your changing body. Some days look heavy, some days look slower, and both are okay 🤍
