Like we say year after year, they are the first to show up and the last to leave. This event would not happen without the “All Hands Onboard” approach from Kory Gibson, Kris Gibson and Kayla Gibson and the whole crew from Gibson and Son!

There is no job too big for these guys as they tackle multiple timber operations both in and out of the state, work many fires throughout the Northwest and beyond, run a rock crushing plant along with gravel and multiple material options including logs with delivery, offer construction excavation and development services, and most important build cool dirt bike tracks!

If you are looking for anything to do with logs, rocks, gravel, decorative landscape stones, trucking, excavation and more, check out this locally owned multi generation company as there is nothing these guys can’t handle at Gibson and Son Road Building!!

Here’s who to keep an eye on in a Monday matinee at the Ellensburg Rodeo

𝐖𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐘 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀
After coming back from broken femur in three months, Schalla is in a tight bubble race, currently sitting No. 16, just $500 behind Garrett Shadbolt. Winning Ellensburg presents a golden opportunity to bring himself closer to NFR safety. He was 86.5 in Round 1.

𝐉𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐗𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒
Struxness recently got a Playoff win in Caldwell and currently sits No. 5 in the World Standings. In the fourth performance in Ellensburg, he was 4.4 to vault to a tie for the lead with fellow perennial NFR qualifier Scott Guenthner.

𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐒
Lummus is just one-tenth behind Struxness and Guenthner as he is amid the first bubble race of his career. He is No. 16 in the World, $2,000 behind Gavin Soileau. Lummus has been to the last eight NFRs.

𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐎𝐍/𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐏
Tomlinson is safely in the NFR at No. 5 while Thorp is No. 24, looking to extend his streak to 11 in a row. They lead the Average by a tenth of a second, and need to take advantage of this opportunity for Thorp to have a shot at the NFR.

𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐇 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐓
The 2024 World Champion has grinded all summer and worked his way up to No. 15 after starting Reno No. 37 in the World. He was 84 on his first bull and a title in Ellensburg would likely lock in his place in Vegas.

𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐍
The 14-time NFR qualifier is No. 20 in the World and No. 6 entering the Finals in Ellensburg, if he can crack the Top 3 here, it would help his NFR case mightily.
