CAT GOT HER FIRST STRIPE

Huge congratulations to Cat for earning her very first stripe tonight. She shows up ready to work, dialed in on the technique of the day, and drills with intention every single class.

She pushes the pace, sets the tone, and makes all the boys train harder just to keep up. That’s the kind of energy that builds champions. Proud of you, Cat—this is just the beginning. đŸ’ȘđŸ»đŸ˜ŽđŸ€™đŸ»

Open Mat is cancelled tomorrow because your coaches have collectively entered a state of elite‑level R & R.

Current activities include:
Melting into couches
Napping like it’s a sanctioned tournament
Ignoring any impulse to be productive

Enjoy the day off — we’ll see y'all Monday!

Big congrats to Will on earning his 3rd stripe tonight. The growth this kid has put in over the last year is unreal — sharper technique, stronger mindset, and a whole lot of grit.

He’s one of our Ridge O.G.s, and watching him level up has been a highlight for all of us. Keep climbing, Will. This is just the beginning.

Last day of Ridge Summer Camp and our hearts our full.

We saw big wins, tiny stumbles, and so much growth — and our campers pushed through every bit of it. Some learned to overcome obstacles they didn’t think they could. Some made brand‑new friends. Some came out of their shells in ways that made every coach stop and smile. That’s the magic of this place.

Huge love to our coaching crew who kept the wheels turning even when the wheels tried to roll away:
Coaches Maddie and Beth — steady, joyful, and absolute rocks.
Cheri and Bogey — the dynamic duo who can calm chaos with a look.
Sara and Cara — patient, playful, and always ready to jump in.

Amanda, Nathan and Jax — thank you for the special classes that lit our kids up.

Camp isn’t perfect — it’s real. It’s loud. It’s messy. It’s full of feelings and breakthroughs and tiny humans learning who they are. And this week, we got to witness all of it.

Here’s to the campers who tried something new, who kept going when it got hard, who made a friend they didn’t expect, who found their voice, who found their confidence, who found their joy.

Summer Camp 2026
 we did that.

🍎 They’ll still need a snack.
🎁 And yes
there may be surprises.Let’s finish strong and make tomorrow the kind of day they talk about all summer.

đŸ”„ Day 4: Summer Camp Mayhem & Mastery

If the world wasn’t ready for these kids yesterday
 it definitely isn’t ready today.

We kicked things off with self‑defense reactions — what to do if someone pushes you or tries to kick you — and let me tell you, these campers are becoming tiny tactical geniuses. Confident. Controlled. Ready.

Then we shifted into survival mode with one of the most important lessons of the week: fire safety and fire respect.
A MASSIVE thank you to Nathan and Jax Stockton, who taught us how to start a fire, extinguish a fire, and — most importantly — respect fire. Their demo was đŸ”„ in every way that didn’t require an extinguisher. And of course
every good fire deserves a good s'more. Marshmallows were roasted, faces were sticky, spirits were high.

Once everyone was officially demarshmallowed, we headed upstairs for pure, unfiltered game chaos. The kind that makes you question physics, childhood energy levels, and your own sanity.

Then came the highlight: JB and Odin’s project presentations — and they were phenomenal. Creative, confident, and absolutely camp‑legend material.
Lunch hit like a reward. Reflection sheets hit like a plot twist.
These kids? They’re sharp. They’re thoughtful. They’re hilarious. They’re unstoppable.Careful, world. Day 4 proved it: these campers are coming for everything.

Tomorrow’s camp theme is survival skills, and our crew is going to feel like tiny adventurers leveling up.

Here’s the quick rundown for parents:
We’ll be practicing fire‑starting basics — how to stay calm, think clearly, and use safe techniques if you ever find yourself in a tricky situation outdoors.

Weather permitting, we’ll wrap the lesson with a controlled campfire and, of course, s’mores time because every good “survival scenario” deserves a sweet ending.

Expect a little dirt, a lot of confidence building, and kids coming home proud of their new skills.

Day 3 of Ridge Summer Camp was an absolute blast — the kind of day that reminds you why these kids are magic and why this camp matters.🌞

Morning on the mats -
We kicked things off with high‑energy self‑defense training. Campers learned escaping mount and standing up safely when approached by a threat — two foundational skills that build confidence, awareness, and grit. The kids crushed it.

🍎 Snack + Adventure Time -
After snack break, we loaded up for a hayride to Seven Sparrows Farm, where the day turned into a full‑on nature adventure.

🌾 Hands‑on Learning at the Farm -
At the farm, campers got to:
Dissect flowers and explore plant anatomy
Learn where our food comes from
Taste fresh treats like watermelon and pickles
Choose seeds, plant them, and take home their very own starter plants.
Amanda at Seven Sparrows Farm gave an unforgettable lesson — warm, generous, and packed with curiosity‑sparking moments. Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your time, your knowledge, and your heart with our campers today.

đŸ„Ș Back to the Gym -
We wrapped up with lunch, reflection time, and some well‑earned games. The perfect ending to a full day of learning, exploring, and growing together. These kids are unstoppable, and Day 3 proved it. Ready for Day 4. đŸŒ±đŸ”„
