Sasquatch Slam

Sasquatch Slam inaugural tournament is in the books! Thank you to all the volunteers that helped to pull off an amazing experience for all participants. Our sincere thanks to everyone that helped make this a success!

💥They found him
at dawn by the pickleball net,
With paddle in hand and his fur all wet.
He’d played through the night under moonlight’s glow,
Serving so hard the balls would blow.

Crowds had gathered, phones held high,
To see the legend they’d long denied.
“Sasquatch is real—and he’s got a mean spin!”
One shouted loud as the games began.

He strutted around with a backward cap,
Hairy legs, and a victory lap.
Signed up quick for the “Bigfoot Bracket,”
Then broke three balls with his monster racket!

A true gentleman…
he dinked with grace, he smashed with pride,
‘til the refs said, “Sir, you’re out of line!”
His hairy feet had crossed the zone—
A FAULT, they said, in a tone of stone.

But Sasquatch roared, “That call ain’t fair!”
And shook the court with his wild-man flair.
Gilmer Sheriffs came with cuffs that gleamed,
While pickleballs bounced and the players screamed.

They led him off to thunderous cheers,
He winked and said, “See you next year.”
Tall tales being told in the mountain air—
Of a beast who served with skill and flair.

Now legends say when the moon is bright,
You’ll hear faint D***S in the woods at night.
He’s still out there, working his plan…
