What a day at Kebo Valley Golf Club! ⛳️☀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this year’s Lewis/Crowley Memorial Golf Tournament such a great day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather—or a better group of golfers, volunteers, sponsors and friends of the Y.

Most importantly, every dollar raised through this tournament helps provide summer camp scholarships for local kids, making sure more children have the opportunity to experience camp, make friends and create memories that last a lifetime.

Our 65th Anniversary Party may be sold out, but you can still be part of the fun — and the bidding!

We’ll be livestreaming our 65th Anniversary Live Auction tomorrow beginning at approximately 4:00 PM, and we’re opening the auction to online bidders.

We have some incredible items up for grabs, including a private dining experience with Chef Daron Goldstein of Provender, four rounds at Kebo Valley Golf Club, a handcrafted Freshwater Stone granite bench, a bourbon lover’s basket, Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre tickets, and more!

To keep the bidding secure, the online auction will take place through a private Facebook event.

Is your family Home schooling this year, looking for activities to help add to your curriculum? We are asking home school families to help us by filling out the attached survey to see if we were to offer, Gym and Swim time with structured activities, what ages and best times are people looking for?

Interest Form for a Homeschool Gym & Swim program to begin in October in Ellsworth. Class will include 40 minutes of gym exercise/games/activities and 40 minutes of swim instruction/water safety. Registration will be month to month. Classes 1 day a week.

Join us for DEFY’s 65th Birthday Celebration & Summer Finale on Sunday, September 13, at 2:00 PM at Chipper Butterwick’s beautiful oceanside home in Hancock.

Swim Team Evaluations are next week! Wednesday in Ellsworth & Thursday in Blue Hill!

Curious about our swim team? Do you have a child between the ages of 5 and 18 who loves the water?

Join us for Swim Team Evaluations:

Wednesday, September 9 at 4:00 p.m. in Ellsworth
Thursday, September 10 at 4:00 p.m. in Blue Hill

No preregistration is required—just arrive at the pool ready to swim! Can’t make either evaluation? Email Coach Matt at [email protected] to schedule another time.

Swimmers should bring:

A swimsuit
Goggles (no snorkel masks, please)
A hair tie or swim cap if their hair is shoulder-length or longer

Preseason begins September 14 and runs through October. The winter season begins November 2 and continues through February.
