Hiring a property consultant??? What are you getting from a consultant when you hire him??? HOW MUCH Does it cost??? I’m sitting in an airport in Houston Texas and just got of the phone with a client that sent me this pic…. The buck in the back has some serious mass! I’ve talked on the phone with him probably over 100 times since the visit in January! This is all very new to him and I overloaded him with a big plan. The point is….the cost of a visit is just the very very beginning of basically a marriage to help someone succeed. IF You truly are passionate about client success…. I’m sure many never answer the phone after the first few calls and the get paid for a sub par plan. Honestly the hours I spend on the phone with clients walking them thru different aspects of food plots and projects is uncomprehendable to most that don’t understand what goes into it! So before you say how much or is it worth it….. there is a lot of questions to ask a “consultant “ if you hire someone that is good….. that’s me😎 your hunting success is going to increase dramatically instantly and over time be fine tuned to a level most can’t understand…. If you listen and if you put in the work. Lastly the value of your land will 100 percent increase in value that can out weigh the price of a visit over 10 fold in certain situations….. in habitat, beauty and in the type of deer that live on you when you decide to sell. Your plots aren’t growing???? lol here’s a prime example of why your wrong a lot of the times. This is an exclusion cage around an apple tree…. This whole field was planted in Inner Sanctum last year and is destroyed by deer pressure. The cage tells the real story!

Last spring this was strip mine ground and full of multiflora rose and a ton of undesirable trees! Bring in a dozer and a ton of sweat equity and this is 2 growing seasons later! Blinds screened amazingly, GRO clover and Fall Draw along with Anilogic Probean blend that is really holding up well to the browse pressure it’s receiving to make a place that offers a prefect variety of food source! I’ve been working with this client for a while now and it’s cool to see what he has turned his places into. Last year we started with Max Cal Lime and soil builder mix’s and continued with liquid fertilizers and a repeat this spring and this place has even surprised me from what we started with! Here’s some great results so far from a client that listens! lol This is a brand new plot that had bad results from a soil test(key to do ALWAYS!) He sprayed. Mowed then tilled and put granular fertilizer down with 5 bags of Max Cal Lime. This is a half of an acre and we put two separate quarter acre plots in the same field to play around with and test. This results after the plot came up as you can see in the top picture…he sprayed GRO liquid fertilizer on it and this is the same exact picture five or six days later as you can see there is an absolute ton of growth over those five or six days and the deer are already smashing this food plot! I’m looking forward to see the results as they go throughout the whole season and which mix they prefer over the other and how the growth continues! I will have him do one more application of liquid fertilizer around the third week of September to give it one more jump before archery season. Using high-quality products for bad soil situations is honestly a game changer…. Max cal helps give a quick PH jump that STAYS in the soil and adds Humics along with a bunch of beneficial bacteria and fungi that promote LIVING Soil and the liquid fertilizer for soil that has bad pH transfers all the nutrients straight into the plant and has many of the same benefits to the soil….and as you can see from these two different pictures makes a world of difference! Got Barry hooked up with his new blind last night! If you watch this video it shows you can have a cool little hunting spot anywhere! He’s actually gonna access the blind between his wood piles! lol Also…. This is strip ground and 3 years ago his soil PH was 4.5 and he has religiously worked at it with lime and fertilizer and now has a great little clover plot with a bit of brassica mixed in.
