📣 Elma Little League Annual Meeting & Board Elections ⚾🥎

Our annual meeting and Board elections are coming up, and everyone is invited to attend! We would love to see some new faces and welcome anyone interested in getting more involved with Elma Little League.

Board elections are held each September, with new terms beginning October 1. Nominations are taken from the floor at the meeting, so you don't need to be nominated ahead of time to be considered.

Serving on the Board is a volunteer commitment that goes beyond attending meetings. Board members work together throughout the year to help with tournaments, registration and tryouts, work parties, field and facility prep and cleanup, umpiring, picture day, opening and closing ceremonies, and all of the other things that go into making each season happen.

We are incredibly grateful for all of the volunteers who give their time to Elma Little League. From our Board members and coaches to our umpires, concession volunteers, field crews, team parents, and everyone who steps in wherever help is needed, our league simply wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you! 💙

Our Elma Little League Majors All-Stars answered the call with a 10-3 victory over Montesano in the first District 3 Championship game, forcing a winner-take-all championship showdown!

The Elma Little League Majors All-Stars will take the field Saturday morning to battle Montesano Little League Majors All-Stars for the District 3 Championship and the opportunity to represent our district at the Washington Little League State Tournament.

🏆💙 DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! 💙🏆

Congratulations to our Elma Little League Intermediate 50/70 All-Stars on an incredible 6-2 victory over Capitol Little League to capture the Washington Little League District 3 Championship!

The team finished the tournament 3-0, playing outstanding baseball every step of the way. Their hard work, determination, and teamwork have earned them a spot in the Washington State Tournament, where they’ll begin play in Pasco on July 5!

A huge thank you to our amazing families, volunteers, sponsors, and community members who packed the stands and cheered on these players throughout the tournament. Your support means the world and helped create an unforgettable atmosphere at Smith-Murrey Park.

Now it’s time for the next challenge!

Join us Thursday, June 25, at Smith-Murrey Park as Elma takes on Capitol Little League in the Washington District 3 Little League 50/70 Intermediate Championship Game! First pitch is at 6:00 pm with concessions opening at 5:30 pm!

The stakes couldn't be higher—the winner of the tournament punches their ticket to the Washington State Little League tournament in Pasco, beginning July 5!

Make it a full evening at the ballpark—grab dinner while you're there! Concessions will be serving all your ballpark favorites, and we’ll have discounted candy, soda, and other treats available. We also still have hats for sale—$35 each—so you can show your Elma pride!

Let's show these players what hometown pride looks like! 💙🤍 Fill the stands with blue and white, bring your loudest cheers, and help give our team the home-field advantage they deserve.

⚾️ Honoring a Little League Legend ⚾️

Last night at the 2026 Washington District 3 Intermediate Tournament, hosted by Elma Little League, we had the privilege of recognizing a truly remarkable volunteer and leader as he prepares for retirement from his role as District Administrator.

Before the first game, Glen Dickason took the field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and we celebrated a lifetime of dedication to Little League Baseball.

Glen's Little League journey began as a young boy growing up just a few blocks from the Centralia Little League field. What started with helping run the scoreboard and lights in exchange for a hot dog turned into more than 60 years of service to the game he loves.

Over the decades, Glen has worn nearly every hat imaginable. He played Little League, umpired for 35 years, coached and managed for more than two decades, served as Assistant District Administrator, and was elected District Administrator in 1992. He later returned to the position in 2013, serving a combined 28 years as District Administrator. In 2021, he was elected Washington State Coordinator.

Under Glen's leadership, District 3 grew from eight baseball leagues to 11 leagues offering expanded baseball and softball opportunities for countless young athletes.

Perhaps most importantly, Glen's commitment to Little League has always been about family, community, and service. Every role he has held has been as a volunteer. He coached his own children, inspired generations of players, and helped shape the Little League experience for thousands of families throughout our district.

Glen often says that after more than 60 years, he has received far more from Little League than he has given. Those of us who have had the opportunity to work alongside him know just how much he has given to this game and to our communities.

Thank you, Glen, for your time, leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to Little League Baseball. Your impact will be felt for generations, and while you will certainly be missed, your legacy will continue to inspire all of us.

Congratulations on your retirement, Glen, and thank you for everything. ❤️⚾️
