3-0 in pool play today earned us the #1 seed and a late check out! Everyone contributed. Full team effort. First championship game tomorrow at 11:30.

We almost knocked this team out in the 1st round of Championships last Sunday at Antes Fort. Look where they ended up. Imagine that. Let's win it all this weekend in Binghamton!

Turn 2 Tournament at Antes Fort pool play today. Nice facility with big old trees providing much needed shade. Fury shutout AfterShock 8-0 in game 1. Rip only hurled 60 pitches from the rubber for the win. Macie Bennett sent the ball down town for an in the park HR. In game 2, tied at 5, and the clock ready to expire, Ainsley Whitehead smacked a clean single, Bennett singled then Hadleigh Watson hit into a fielders choice to advance the runners and seal the win against Kraken 6-5. Game 3 was the toughest of the day and despite a few offensive rallies, time was not on our side and Fury left the facility 2-1 in pool play placing 6th in the Gold bracket championships tomorrow. First pitch at 9:30. (As long as the umpires got the memo)

2022-07-09 Softball Fury Furyous Tournament 318 new items added to shared album

Fury battled hard at the plate to make an amazing comeback against the Rochester Rattlers, but were overpowered in the final inning for the loss. Rattlers went on to beat the Rebels 8-3 to secure a spot in the Championship game against Thunder. Great effort Fury! Next tournament Sandlot Showdown at Elm Park in Williamsport July 22-24.

Close game loss 6-4 against the Rebels yesterday put Fury 2024 in the #5 seed for Championship play today. First game today v Rochester Rattlers at 10:20. A win puts us back up against Rebels at noon with a chance to enter the Championship game at 1:45! Follow the games on GameChanger Fury 2024 16U!
