The Elmira Aviators are proud to announce the signing of forward Johnny Lowe to a NAHL Tender Agreement for the 2026-27 season.

A native of Elmira, NY, Johnny has continued to develop into an exciting young talent through the Elmira Hockey Academy and has already gained valuable experience with the Aviators organization through multiple NAHL call-ups.

Johnny brings a strong work ethic, high hockey IQ, and a relentless compete level every time he steps on the ice. His commitment to improving his game and representing his hometown with pride has earned him this opportunity.

"We are excited to add Johnny to our future roster," said Head coach Leeor Shtrom . "He has worked incredibly hard for this opportunity, and we believe he has a bright future in our organization."

This camp provides a premier opportunity for aspiring players to compete in a high-performance environment, showcase their abilities, and gain valuable exposure while working alongside elite talent and NCAA commits.

The Elmira Aviators are proud to announce the addition of Jason Jaworski as Assistant Hockey Director and NAHL Assistant Coach.

Jason brings a strong passion for player development, leadership, and advancing young athletes both on and off the ice. In his dual role, he will work closely with the Aviators coaching staff and hockey operations department to support the continued growth of the organization while helping develop the next generation of Aviators players.

As Assistant Hockey Director, Jason will assist with the overall development and administration of the Elmira Aviators hockey programs, helping to ensure a consistent pathway for players throughout the organization. As an Assistant Coach with the NAHL club, he will play a key role in player development, practice planning, game preparation, recruiting, and daily team operations.

“Jason’s commitment to developing players and his passion for the game make him an outstanding addition to our organization,” said Eddy Lowe, President of Hockey Operations. “We are excited to welcome him to the Aviators family and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our players and programs.”

Kolby brings valuable CHL experience to the Aviators blue line after spending time with the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League (WHL). A talented two-way defenseman, he combines strong hockey IQ, mobility, physicality, and poise with the puck, making him an exciting addition to our defensive corps.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kolby to the Aviators family,” said President of Hockey Operations Eddy Lowe. “His experience at the CHL level, combined with his character, work ethic, and commitment to development, will make an immediate impact on our defensive group. The Elmira Aviators are proud to announce the tender signing of 2007-born forward, Adam Kurka. Originally from Praha, Czechia, Adam spent this past season with HC Sparta Praha U20 in the Czechia U20 League. In 49 games, Kurka recorded 27 points while competing at one of the top junior levels in Europe.

Adam brings skill, hockey sense, and offensive ability to the Aviators lineup, and we’re excited to welcome him to Elmira for the 2026-27 season.
