⚽ YOUTH SOCCER IS COMING BACK TO ELSA! ⚽

Registration opens October 1 for the upcoming Elsa Parks & Recreation Youth Soccer League! The league is open to boys and girls ages 3–12 from throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Full teams are welcome!

🗓️ League begins November 1
⚽ Eight games
📍 All games played at Mario Leal Park
🏅 Every participant receives a medal
🏆 Trophies awarded to the top three league finishers

🎃 Elsa, get ready for three days of Halloween fun at The Garden! 👻

🧁 Thursday, October 29 | 6 PM
Kick things off with pumpkin carving and cupcake decorating, plus candy, crafts, face painting, and a pumpkin patch! Pumpkin carving is $5. Cupcake decorating, sponsored by La Mexicana Bakery, is free while supplies last.

🏃 Friday, October 30 | 6 PM
Put on your costume for Trick-or-Trot Fun Run! Registration is $10 and includes a T-shirt and finisher medal. Register at cityofelsa.net/parks.

🍬 Saturday, October 31 | 5–8:30 PM
Celebrate at Elsa’s Halloween Harvest Fest with Trunk or Treat, moon jumps, a costume contest, pony rides, a petting zoo, photo areas, a hay ride, a pumpkin patch, and music by DJ Javi!

Help make Halloween night special for Elsa! We’re looking for businesses, organizations, and community members to hand out candy at Trunk or Treat. We’re also welcoming vendors who want to sell food or other items, and sponsors who want to support the festivities. Email [email protected] to get involved.

🐾 Exciting news for pet owners: A Mobile Pet Wellness Clinic is coming to Elsa this October!

Bring your dogs and cats to The Garden for vaccines, microchips, wellness services, and more. A free exam is available with any vaccine purchase. The clinic is open to all residents!

🏀 Exciting Improvements Are Coming to Mario Leal Park Pavillion✨

Our basketball pavilion is getting some much-needed TLC! Over the next few weeks, our team will complete several maintenance upgrades, including:

🏀 Painting the basketball backboards
⛹️ Installing new basketball rims
🎨 Repainting the basketball court and court lines
🏓 Adding new pickleball lines

🚧 For everyone’s safety and to protect the newly painted surface, we kindly ask our community to stay off the court until all maintenance is complete.

We’re excited to bring these improvements to Mario Leal Park and provide our residents with a refreshed space to play, stay active, and enjoy! 💙🌳
