The shallower BWCA lakes and the rivers are becoming ice free fast. Monday’s heavy rain and today’s predicted 60 degrees could mean that Spring has finally arrived in the Ely area!

Larry Christianson recently completed his 100th trip into the Boundary Waters. Larry and his wife Norma are longtime customers of Canoe Country Outfitters and typically take week long trips with some in the past nearing three weeks. The Olson family would like to express our gratitude for such a fantastic achievement and thank Larry, Norma, and their family for their patronage and friendship that goes back many, many years.
