Each character was based off real baseball figures / players. Here are some hints… the pitcher is a lefty but was made a righty for layout purposes… he was a Blondie. The guy below him was particular about how he celebrated with teammates in TX… bottom right was found on a pouch and the hitter above him has a winter sport in his last name. If you can figure it out, you will be permanently enshrined in our personal baseball hall of fame.

Our little display / mini shop is all done. Is there enough local demand for sticky stuff to justify building this out? Nahhhhh but what the hell it was fun and it’s nice to see everything on a wall. I probably get asked for local pickup once a month so now it’s an option if you’re in the area. I’ll be here this Saturday 10-2 spinning records and eating donuts.

Nothin fancy here… just a solid solution to keeping unwanted grime from finding your bat between games etc. It also keeps your tar nice n’ fresh so it doesn’t dry out over time. Our Taper Wraps are in production and should be available soon. We’ll probably have some fun with them and have a variety of patterns and colors. No sprinkles tho. Not gonna happen.

When we got word our Pine Pops were going to be added to MLB’s on field Authentic Collection, we wanted to give them the treatment they deserved. 5 months later, they’re ready to be set free. They come in a custom more durable push up tube in a bigger size and will be packed in a custom air tight pouch. Most importantly, the formula is totally dialed after we tweaked it to increase function in warm weather. They spent a lot of time in Detroit this Summer to make sure they’re good to go. We’re super excited to finally release these into on deck circles world wide.

Keep an eye out for these tonight! We were tasked with making custom dodger blue rosin bags for the All Star Game a few months ago. All we’re hand dyed and dried at home and then screen printed at . Before PBW, I had a screen print biz so it was pretty fun getting a chance to print again and combine the two.

Happy to get these out of the old plastic push up tubes. Not only are they 100% biodegradable, they are made domestically which will save us from the supply chain issues we were continually having with the other ones. These look a little more cleaner in my opinion as well ;)

Our Bat Wax Bar is now back after a brief hiatus in the California Penal League. These limited edition bars will be poured and hand dated monthly. First ones are up on the site. I had a blast putting these together again with some new branding. Have a great weekend 😎

I’ve always wanted to bring back the original bar but in a different shape with re-worked branding that’s reflective of the care free approach I had when I was making this stuff in my kitchen. Nothin fancy. These will be offered on a limited basis every month starting this Friday. When I first started this thing, it was a creative outlet from what I was doing at the time and now the original bar is back and serving the same purpose in a weird way. It’s fun to mix things up and have elements in the branding you wouldn’t typically find on an item in a sporting goods store.

Happy New Year everyone. Needed that break so bad! Hope everyone enjoyed some time off :) Back to it. I know I don’t post much these days but I’ll try and keep everyone in the loop a bit more this year. Hopefully things will be a bit more normal in a few months and we’ll have a full baseball season to look forward with a healthy crowd in the stands. Fun fact about the original “pine tar stick”… Manny Mota was in the Dominican getting some car work done when a mechanic busted one of these out. The wheels started turning and Manny Mota came up with the concept of the first grip stick. I heard this a few years back and while it might it not be 100% true… I believe it.
