Last Saturday I was able to sneak away from the house and head up to Presque Isle Bay in Erie and fish in the KeystoneBass KayakSeries event. Erie has had my number in past years as it just isn’t the type of fishing I grew up doing but I feel like I have figured some things out the last couple years. I came in 12th out of 41 anglers and caught some awesome fish. The weather took a turn and I made the decision to go fish for largemouth which I honestly regret but you live and learn. It was a fun trip.

We had blast this morning at the creek. Gunner caught 5 trout and kept wanting to throw them back so he could fish longer. I think he must get that from Gina Koch lol. Thankful to God for these memories.

We had a great time tagging along with Braxton and Able on the chukar hunt sponsored by Sportsmen Outfitters. Thanks for allowing us to share the day with you all.

The last morning was a fun one here in Arkansas. We were able to scratch out 20 geese on the morning. It has been a great trip. Headed home due to some unsettled weather moving in.

I had a pretty awesome evening tonight. I got back out on the river with some friends tonight and this guy decided to take my bait. He put up quite a fight on light tackle and after a long struggle I was able to wrestle the fish onto the shore. What an incredible fish. I am always thankful to God for experiences like these.

Ice jams at the end of last week to catching fish on the Allegheny this week. It is so good to be back out fishing on the river. I was able to catch this nice pike tonight. Blessed.

We went down to check out the ice last evening in Emlenton. The power of God's creation is incredible. Times like these remind me of how little control I have and how the good Lord watches over us daily!
