Happy Easter everyone!

Here's your incredibly important blanketing season reminder courtesy of the horse doctors at Miamitown Equine Veterinary Services:

"When securing blankets, make sure that the snaps/clips are facing inward, toward the horse! If they are facing out, they can easily become stuck on something, like the hay net in the picture."

Bluerageous, fondly known in the barn as “Bane”, working hard over the winter to be ready for some showing next season!

Anyone who knows, knows that this amazing horse, BB, sustained 2 MASSIVE wounds on his right side on 8/18. Today is the first day he is back to work with a rider and to say he was a little excited and blew us out of the water is an understatement.
I couldn’t have done it without my amazing vet, Dr. Rachael at Forward Thinking Equine who walked me through this entire healing process (daily, for a few weeks) and made multiple trips out to check on him (and me) and helped us speed things along with a few incredible laser treatments along the way.
BB is back, super excited, and can’t wait to get back to some other students of his this spring.
Also, great job to his rider, Lia, for piloting him so well for his first ride back!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! 🦃🍁🍽

On 11/8, Lia and Tess participated in a clinic with Nicole DelGiorno at the stunning Halka Farms in Millstone, NJ presented by ESDCTA. Tess was fortunate enough to be able to fine tune some skills on Susan’s talented “Quite Frankly”, which left Lia the chance to ride Tess’ young, “Little Miss Millie”. Tons of learning was had- including more in depth knowledge during a lunchtime lecture on the dressage pyramid.
