Due to the forecast of rain for Saturday, April 25th, Fishing With A Cop has been postponed until Saturday, May 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Furnace Dam will be fully stocked and ready for your little ones to practice their fishing skills. Pa game commission 2026-27 hunting information

Pennsylvania hunters, you’re going to want to save this post!

The 2026-27 Pennsylvania hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits are now finalized, which means the new license year is right around the corner!

Here are some highlights:

Migratory game bird hunting seasons will NOT include Sunday hunting opportunities.

Sunday hunting is now included within all other season dates as listed. Seasons that previously ended on Saturday, for the most part will now end on Sunday.

Small game seasons including squirrel, rabbit, and pheasant will now run continuous seasons from opening dates through February 28, 2027.

An additional October elk fi****ms season has been added (More info soon to follow).

We will have the outside refrigerator stocked with minnows, worms and supplies on Thursday March 26, 2026.

I have minnow buckets and fishing supplies in the shop as well as the outside refrigerator.

If you need anything from the shop - look for the open light if it is on then we are in the shop. Otherwise the outside refrigerator will be stocked with minnows, nightcrawlers, baby night crawlers, red worms and meal worms. You can access the refrigerator 24/7. We work on the honor system.
