Black Canyon Raceway

Black Canyon Raceway Black Canyon Raceway is a 1/7 mile dirt track located just off Hwy 16 at the Gem County Fairgrounds in Emmett Idaho.

Outlaws Karts have been racing at the facility since its inception in 2017.

I’d like to thank everyone that came out to race in honor of Mike Hasson as well as the Hasson Family for continuing to support BCR.

It was also great to see our Grand Marshall Terri Hasson take to the flag stand.

Drinks will be available from A&Js bean Machine alongside food from Everything on A Stick.

Bring out those blue racing shirts or a blue shirt in general in honor of Mike Hasson.

In addition to honoring Mike, today marks 25 years since the September 11th tragedy. The track would like to honor all our emergency service men and women. Anyone with a Fire, Police, EMT, any branch of Military badge or ID (past or present) will receive a free pit pass tonight.

Friday Night were back at Black Canyon Raceway! All kart classes are hitting the track for the Hasson Hustler, racing in honor of longtime racing supporter Mike Hasson.

In memory of Mike, let's turn BCR blue! Wear a blue shirt—his favorite color—and help us pack the stands to honor a man that was instrumental in Idaho Kart Racing. See you under the lights! 🔵🏁

Remaining season dates,

Our Next Race is the Hasson Hustler September 11th
We pay tribute to the late Mike Hasson and honor all of his efforts to support racing in Idaho. All kart divisions will be running.

Tater Cup 250 will take place September 25th and 26th. Tater Cup will be the original format including a 50 lap $1k to win for the PBT Auto caged Clones and $500 to win for Hammer Down Trucking 250s.
This will be our final points race of the season.

The $5k to Win Bell Helmet Opens will take place at the Topher Classic October 9th and 10th. Topher Classic will use the standard BCR rule book but will not be a points event. Complete format and more details will be posted this week.

The wait is over—we are finally back on track tomorrow night! 🏁

It’s going to be a warm one out there, so to make things a little more comfortable for everyone, we are pushing our schedule back by 30 minutes.

Here is the updated game plan for tomorrow:
🚪 Gates Open: 4:00 PM
🗣️ Drivers Meeting: 6:00 PM
⏱️ Qualifying: 6:30 PM
