Wondering if your kid is ready for golf? Watch for these three things.

They can focus for about 30 minutes. They don’t need to be still the whole time, just able to stay with one activity.
They love hitting targets. Tossing balls into buckets, aiming at cans, anything with a “did I make it?” moment.
They keep asking to go.

Number 3 matters most. You can work on focus and skills. You can’t make a kid want it. If they’re already tugging you toward the course, that curiosity is the head start. Starting close to the hole and stacking up small wins does the rest.

A hole in one on #9 to score a 36! Way to go Sofia!
Please help me congratulate sofiabadillogolf for making her first Hole in One this evening!! Hole #9 at Falls Road, 120 yards away.

Not only was it her first hole in one but it was to BEAT 36 from Level 7 of operation_36 on the button!!! What a climatic finish to the 9-Hole Event!!

If this isn’t the definition of “it’s not over, until it’s over” then what is?!?!

To go from 3 putting in your previous attempt on Hole 9 to shoot 37, to acing it your next attempt to beat 36 is a result of your resiliency.

I’m profoundly proud of you, Sofia. Keep up the great work. Onto Level 8!

Ten swings to reach the green isn't fun for anyone. Start them 25 yards out, let them make some putts, and watch what happens.

Your four-year-old just grabbed your putter and started whacking a tennis ball across the living room. And now you're wondering: is this a sign? Should we be signing up for lessons? Is it too early? Too late?

Here's the good news. There's no wrong age to start golf. But there is a right way to start at every age, and it looks pretty different for a 4-year-old than it does for a 12-year-old.

Every age has a right way in.

Golf looks different at every age, and that's what makes it so special.

At Operation 36, we believe everyone deserves a welcoming place to start, a clear path to improve, and the confidence to keep going.

Because golf isn't just a game you learn. It's a game you can enjoy for a lifetime.

What age did YOU first pick up a golf club?

We clean up pretty well for a group that’s usually talking about golf 24/7. 😂⛳️

Blair just started playing golf this past September and she is already working on Op 36 Level 2! Nice work Blair!
She did it! Blair hit par today in Level 1 in her second tournament ever! To say I’m proud is an understatement. Keep practicing, keep grinding and keep aiming for the stars kiddo and you’ll keep doing great things! Your dad and I are extremely proud of you. Thank you healmyswing operation_36 golftimbercreek for all you teach and do for her. Level 2….she’s coming for you!😉 ( #📷 ) Media Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/Dd0E1QVjg_W/
