The Dunes Team has been hard at work behind the scenes preparing our greens for next season! ⛳️

We’ve begun the aeration process, pulling cores and preparing to topdress the greens. While it may look a little rough right now, this essential maintenance helps relieve soil compaction, improve water and nutrient absorption, and encourage stronger, healthier root growth.

The result? Healthier, softer, and more receptive greens when spring rolls around! 🌱

A little work now goes a long way toward providing the best possible playing conditions for our golfers next season.

⛳ Mid-Season Thank You from Dunes Golf Club!

As we head into the second half of the season, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Dunes Golf Club this year!

It’s been another amazing season of golf, and we’re not finished yet. With plenty of great golf still ahead in September and October, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings.

🚒 A special thank you to the Glen Lake Fire Fighters for holding their outing with us! We had an incredible turnout of 50+ golfers, and we truly appreciate everyone who came out and made the day such a success.

🌲 Up next, we’re excited to welcome the National Park Service for their outing this week!

Whether you’ve played a round, joined us for an outing, stopped by the course, or simply supported us throughout the year — thank you! Your support means a lot to everyone here at Dunes Golf Club.

Here’s to plenty more golf this fall! ⛳🍂

YUP — the Dunes crew is still at it! ⛳️

It may be getting late in the summer, but there’s still plenty of golf left, and our crew has been busy making improvements around the course!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve:

🌱 Seeded two new areas on hole 3 and 4.

⛳ Dug out and replaced sod on hole 5 and hole 15, followed by topdressing and new bentgrass seed — and it’s already starting to come together!

🌳 Cleaned up the right-side tree line on hole 7, making it a little easier to find those not-so-straight tee shots!

🏖️ Edged, weeded, and spruced up the bunker on 11

🪨 Added fresh mulch to the rock garden, and we’re excited to see how the whole area comes together next year!

There’s always something happening behind the scenes to keep improving the Dunes. A huge thank you to all of our Dunes golfers for your continued support and patience while we work!

There’s still plenty of summer left — we’ll see you out on the course! ⛳️

We just absolutely love how vibrant the course gets almost every morning. Nothing like being in the heart of such a wonderful place.

We hope to everyone out this weekend for some amazing golf! The course has been getting cleaned up real well since the storm, and we are STOKED for August coming up. ⛳️
