Formerly the site of the Emporia Country Club from 1911 to 2024, the grounds at 1801 Rural have been the location for hundreds of City and World Champions being crowned in golf and disc golf. The site has been the host of multiple PDGA Junior, Amateur, Master’s, and Professional World Championships and will continue to be a sought-after location for PDGA Majors and Disc Golf Pro Tour events for years to come.

Ideatek presents the Kansas Amateur Championships sponsored by Dynamic Discs - All AM PDGA A-Tier

We’re TWO weeks away and excited to announce an important update to this year’s event!

This is shaping up to be a weekend that goes well beyond disc golf, with an incredible lineup of activities and entertainment. From the Red Bull DJ, Players Party, and Fly Mart to Glow Golf and much more on Saturday night, there will be plenty happening both on and off the course. A great time is guaranteed!

Our goal is to give as many players as possible the opportunity to experience this event. After listening to the feedback we’ve received regarding the original three-day format, we’ve decided to make a change:

UPDATE: The event will now be a TWO-DAY event, featuring two rounds on Saturday and one round on Sunday. We will also be doing to a shotgun start at 9AM both days.

The event will remain an A-Tier, and everything else you’re looking forward to is still in the works. We believe this format will create an even better experience for players while allowing everyone to enjoy everything the weekend has to offer.

Course Assignments
Champs Silver and Champs Gold will be in play throughout the weekend. We will also incorporate the Champs Fun 9 for select divisions.

A-Pool - MA1 & MA40: 2 rounds on Champs Gold + 1 round on Champs Silver
B-Pool - MA2, MA3, FA1, MA50 & MA60: 2 rounds on Champs Silver + 1 round on Gold Shorts
C-Pool - MA4, MA65, MA70, MA75 & FA2: 2 rounds on Champs Silver + 1 round on Champs Fun 9, played twice through for an 18-hole round

Additional divisions are still possible and will be assigned as needed.

Round 1:
A-POOL - Champs Gold
B-POOL - Champs Silver
C-POOL - Champs Silver

Saturday, October 3rd - 1 PM (approximately)
Round 2:
A-POOL - Champs Silver
B-POOL - Champs Gold Shorts
C-POOL - Champs Fun 9 (played twice)

Sunday, October 4th - 9 AM
Round 3:
A-POOL - Champs Gold
B-POOL - Champs Silver
C-POOL - Champs Silver
