The many views and outfit changes of a cold-water spearfishing trip.

went to Norway and nabbed an Atlantic halibut, the largest flatfish in the world. Norway, like many fishing destinations, has strict rules about size, quantity, and seasons for fishing this species. Fishing regulations balance conservation efforts while allowing people to continue consuming this local food source.

The diving is cold, dark, and wet, so spearos here must be prepared for the elements with all the right gear.

That's right. Simple baking soda. On our website, we recommend using Oxyclean. However, we know many people want to keep their cleaning products simple.

Put your Surf-fur in the wash on a cold express cycle, add baking soda, and hang to dry. If you live in the tropics, keep your parka indoors when you're not using it.

We don't believe in fast fashion. Take care of your gear, and it will care for you for years to come.

We believe in quality gear that will perform for years.

The best approach is to simply hose off and dry your Surffur if it's a little salty. If you do need a proper wash, put it in the machine with some baking soda on a COLD WATER express cycle, and then hang to dry.

This is the biggest shipment jam since 2020.

Between the super El Niño and nonstop typhoons and hurricanes across the Pacific, global shipping has been delayed.

Here is what is happening:

🚢 About 8.5% of the world's container shipping capacity is stuck waiting out storms or sitting in port backups
⛈️ The average ship is running nearly a week behind schedule
☀️Drought from El Niño has the Panama Canal letting fewer ships through each day

What does this mean? Items you want to buy as holiday presents may not arrive on time. That means, if you have your eye on something, grab it early so you have it for your celebrations.

If you've had your eye on a Surf-fur, we have good and bad news. Our Waterparka and SurfCheck Hoodie are in stock and shipping on time. However, our new design, the Nomad, is expected to be delayed. It should arrive around the first week of November. Still, as with anything weather-related, we're at the mercy of Mother Nature.
