Here's a late Christmas present for all you P.O.P.-ers - an advert from the December 22, 1967 edition of the L.A. Free Press, advertising the Christmas eve shows by the Chambers Brothers and The Nazz at the short-lived Cheetah nightclub. Courtesy my co-author, Domenic Priore. Carson and Chance with their new boards. They made it through another year of school and are rewarded with new boards from their pround parents for Summer. Carson likes his boards long, he opted for an 8'0" retro Chip "Tamarack Surfboard" and Chance got a 6'0" retro Lightning Bolt. Both boards are single fins shaped by me with congratulations on getting through another school year.
