🚨Counting in another language = secret tempo hack. Pros do it. You should too.
Why It Works - 3 Reasons
1) Breaks “English overthinking”
Your brain stores swing thoughts in English: “Don’t slice. Keep head down. Turn hips.”
That’s 3 swing killers in 1 backswing.
Foreign words = no emotional baggage. It just counts. Brain shuts up, body swings.
2) Forces rhythm + prevents rushing
English: “One... two... three... GO” = you rush. “GO” is a trigger to hit.
Spanish/Korean: “Uno, dos, tres,/
하나 (hana)둘 (dul)셋 (set)= no “hit” word. You just flow through counts. Rushing feels wrong because you break the word.
Physics: Smooth acceleration > jerky hit. Counting keeps smooth.
3)Occupies thinking brain so golf brain swings
Your conscious brain can only hold 7 things. Give it 3 foreign words and it’s too busy to micromanage your hands.
Give it a try and let me know what language works the best for you!
☕️It’s doesn’t just wake me up, now it makes me wake up the whole neighborhood as well. 🫥
💩💨💥
Now ya’ll know why I’m late to the teetime!
The one shot that keeps you coming back for more!
Chunking, slicing, 3-putting all day. Scorecard looks like a crime scene.
Then 1 pitch…Drops!
And suddenly golf isn’t stupid anymore. It’s beautiful again. Love this game!
How I like to be treated after my body’s been taking a beating after playing 18 holes of golf and being over 40 years old…
The struggle is real. 😣🚑

🦩Flamingo Drill = Weight Forward on Steroids
If weight forward is the answer, the Flamingo Drill is the test. It forces the student to live in the correct position or they literally fall over. No hiding.
What It Is — 10 Second Setup
Setup: Normal chip stance, weight 70% on lead foot. Now lift your trail foot/toe completely off ground. Balance only on lead leg like a flamingo.
Ball position: Middle-back, off right foot.
Hands: Ahead of clubhead.
Only swing thought: “Brush it and stay up and balanced.”
“If you can chip on 1 leg, you can chip on 2 legs. This is just the exaggeration.”

🚨Why Rolling the Trail Foot Kills Your Swing
When your trail foot rolls to the outside on the backswing, 3 bad things happen:
You lose the ground — Can’t push off anything. No ground = no power. You’re swinging with your arms only.
Hips slide, not turn — Foot rolls = knee collapses in. Now you sway off the ball instead of coiling behind it.
Early extension coming down — Body senses instability and throws hips at ball to “catch” itself. Hello, blocks and hooks.
✅Just do this simple swing drill with a golf ball under the outer edge of your trail foot.
It Forces a Stable, Braced Trail Leg
To keep the ball pinned, your weight has to stay on the inside of your trail foot. That stacks your knee over ankle, femur in hip socket.
Why that matters: That’s the exact position that lets your hips rotate around your leg instead of swaying past it. You coil like a spring instead of sliding like a door.
