Known as "The Friendliest Race in L.A.", the Valley Crest Half Marathon is a popular trail half-marathon held each year on the second Sunday in June. Run entirely on Mulholland fire road, this race is the perfect competition for the serious runner and is also "user friendly" enough to be a great first-timer trail run! Located at the far west end of the San Fernando Valley, Ahmanson 12K Trails takes you high up on Lasky Mesa to the site of the filming of Gone With The Wind and Django Unchained before bringing you down into Upper Las Virgenes Canyon which may-or-may-not include some mud and puddle hopping, depending on the weather in April! The challenging and popular Bulldog runs consist of two races - the 25K Trail Run and the 50K Trail Ultra Run. Come run in the beautiful scenic Santa Monica Mountains recreational area beginning at our base camp in Malibu Creek State Park. The Bulldog is a RRCA State Championship Race for the 50K, going 26 years strong! This is the original "Bulldog Trail Run"; accept no imitations! Rocky Peak 50/30 Ultra Trail Runs launches hot on the heels of the successful Bandit Ultra Trail Races in beautiful Corriganville Park. Run through the mountains and canyons of Rocky Peak, famous as a movie ranch and outdoor location shooting for movies and television programs such as Star Trek, Fort Apache, The Lone Ranger and The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin.
