Slammers Untouchables 09

I am pleased to announce Slammers Untouchables McGinnis 2009’s will have a new independent head coach, James Manu. I have been so lucky to coach this group for 3 years and they have improved so much. What I’m most proud of is that over 3 years we played over 170 games, Covid and all. Our goal was to develop and learn through competitive games. Our 2022 season was marked with many successes, including 3 tournament championships. When we realized were dominant at 12U we quickly switched to 14’s, and never skipped a beat! We never focused on wins and losses, instead our players learned to play for one another.

James recently coached the Untouchables 18’s. Of his 12 players, 9 have signed to play in college and James would like help guide more athletes on their softball journeys. James has over 12 years of competitive coaching experience, from 8u-18u. I am so excited James will be taking the reins. It’s a rare privilege to have a high caliber non parent coach for our players.

We have a great group of returning players and families, and we will be adding to our roster.

We’re playing in the 14U division of the Don’t Call Me Blue tournament.

Because of the snowstorm we have a Sunday only tournament.
We’ll play two pool games and go to single elimination bracket play.

We’re playing up in 14U again this weekend.
