Went on a Saturday morning hike for some fasted cardio at Saint Marry’s Glacier. Round trip it was 3miles with a nice elevation gain. I burned a little over 600 calories which is great for fasted cardio. Fasted cardio is a great way to burn some of that stubborn fat! It was a beautiful hike and I highly recommend trying it out if you’re in Colorado. Also had to add my “dad” selfie in here 😂. Rocking my J’s ReconFit shirt!

One year ago today I became the luckiest man when this lovely woman became my wife and my kids stepmother. She has been one of the best things to ever happen not only to me but to my two boys as well. My boys even love her more than me. One of the hardest jobs in the world in my opinion is being a step parent and she has just killed it! I could not of hoped for a better partner/wife. If someone would have told me a few years ago that this woman not only be my wife but would change my life forever by being the most loving and supportive person in my life. I would have said you’re lying and to lay off the drugs 😂. Seriously though I could not say enough about this woman. She is just the best. ❤️ I love you Blythe, happy one year wedding anniversary!!!! Also had to add my father in laws stone cold face during the ceremony. This made our day when we watched the video.

Two drills on for 45 seconds break for 20-30 seconds (depending on the athlete you’re working with). First drill is toe touches, the goal is to not move the ball swing your arms as you would when running (opposite of the knee that’s up). The second drill is a figure 8 with two cones. Encourage the athlete to stay as close to the cone as possible when rounding them. Short quick steps when they get close and when they turn. Work on proper running form (video will be out in the future on this).

Same principle, keep it fun! This is the three step. The purpose of this drill is wiring the feet to the brain. When starting out slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Keep encouraging the athlete to slow down until they get the movement.
