What a time it has been with all of these guys. 5 months ago I started a job at Elite Speed and was given the opportunity to work with all of these athletes. Seeing how all of them have grown in the weight room has been amazing. Even with their big strides in the weight room, these kids have had an impact on my life that I can never repay. It’s a great feeling to have a passion and drive to help a young athlete reach their goals, and for them to reciprocate and give you all their trust.

I will really miss all these kids and can’t wait to see how they grow as athletes and people over the years. Thank you for everything. 🤘🏻✌🏻 @ Slammers Baseball

90mph update:

About two months in. No throwing program started yet, just lifting and arm care, and I saw a 3.3mph jump on pull downs and a humbling start off the mound to say the least at 81.4 😅

I am now in my Triphasic blocks of training, and will begin a long toss and weighted ball program starting next week. Will test again at the end of June. Still trusting the process and enjoying the journey.

My man RJ putting in the work this year. Dude is up 10 pounds and is climbing numbers in all his major lifts quick. 👀 Guy has come a long way.

It’s the result of consistent, day in and day out dedication. When the athletes buy in as much as this kid has, Great things can happen.

Biggest thing I here from guys who don’t train. Injuries shouldn’t completely stop training whatsoever, but leads to a weak, detrained, and de-conditioned individual who wonders why they either 1) Get hurt again or 2) take an absurd amount of time to get back.

Injuries happen to every athlete. From small aches & pains to those more serious - injuries are a part of the game when you push your body to the max. How you deal with those injuries makes all the difference in the long run.🥊

Option 1: push through the injury & ignore the pain. This often leads you down the path of even more disabling problems, kills your performance & cuts your career short.❌

Option 2: our current medical system of “stop training, take these meds” & follow the advice of a rehab professional that doesn’t understand your ambitions and treats you like a 80 year old grandpa with simple exercises laying on a bed...🤦🏼‍♂️

Option 3: you find a good rehab professional that understands your goals. They perform a thorough evaluation & explain exactly what you need to take away & implement in the short term to help you get back to your long term goals. This is a mix of science & art to help you succeed.🏋🏼‍♀️

Takeaway: don’t be a tough guy and push through pain, but also understand that not all rehab professionals are created equal. Taking time to find a physical therapist or chiropractor when you’re injured that truly understands how to treat athletes is how you can stay moving big weights for LIFE🙌🏼

If you’ve found a good rehab professional to help you through your injuries in the past - tag them below, give them a shout out & help spread the word of those doing things the right way🥊

Force is King. Lift Heavy. Pick things up and put them down.

There is so much novelty in the S&C world today. At the end of day, crushing the basics is what will create bigger, faster, and stronger athletes. But will also create sustainability for the athletes.

At the end of this busy Saturday, I started to realize how lucky I am to do what I do. I wake up everyday excited to go to work. Which not many people can say in this day in age. Just feeling very appreciative for the life I have right now after being lost for awhile.

Life is meant to have purpose and I have found mine. So thank you to all who make this possible.

Here's a breakdown on how the gloveside assists in transferring energy from the torso to the throwing arm and how it helps to maximize rotation.

Charlie Coors getting some serious activation and corrective work. The body works as a system so we need to train it as a system, even in corrective work.
