D-UP Racing

We have decided to sell our 410 and Non-Wing cars. These cars have definitely given us a lot of great memories and have been parked in victory lane many many times with Justin Zimmerman behind the wheel!

It has 10000% been my happy place the past few years and to say I am not 💔 over it would be a lie. The non wing 410 is hands down my favorite sprint car racing to be apart of and to watch. There is nothing like it in my book!!

This year we have focused on Devon Debrick getting back into his sprint car, Bud, since he moved back to Texas. Sadly, there were not many non wing races around the area for us to race with Justin. We enjoyed the season supporting and cheering on Devon and Justin when he drove our non wing or his own equipment throughout this year.

D-UP Racing exists in the memory of Dalton and honoring his memory and something that we all loved to do as a family. It was our happy place as a family from the pits to the stands! It was our Mom and Son Date nights and the fun of “picking” cars each race!

Seeing D-UP on the side of a car going around the track is comforting to my heart, knowing I am honoring his memory and what he would want us doing and investing in! We will continue to honor him. We plan on investing and building his brother a new car. I know that Dalton is strapping in with Devon every time and racing right there with him.

We plan on continuing to cheer on and support my favorite 2nd place driver, JZ, when he races! Well, until little JZ starts, then he will be my fav! We have shared lots of memories over the past 4 years racing, vacations and family time that we cherish very much! I could not have checked off so much on my Bucketlist without him and lots of roadtrips! We are blessed to be a big part of their lives and the kids lives.

We will be listing the cars and motor by tomorrow. These cars almost become part of the family and I hate letting go. When we started this journey, JZ and I started naming the cars. I thought it was kinda silly at first but then it stuck.

So look for Olga (purchased originally from Landon Simon) and Cougar ( purchased originally from Michael Dutcher) to be up for sale and at the USAC race this weekend😜 It will be a bittersweet weekend, but hoping to see JZ and/or Jason upfront!!!

I have received several messages the past couple of weeks asking if we are running World of Outlaws this weekend at our home track! Unfortunately no, Justin Zimmerman will not be running. It is though his 40th birthday on Saturday and his wife has made reservations for the two of them to celebrate. We will celebrate his birthday with their kiddos at KSP Saturday night supporting one of our race fam’s driver and team, Jason Howell with Pack Rat Racing! We are looking forward to enjoying the show with our race fam and cheering Jason on!

We appreciate all that have bought tickets to support this awesome race and continue to support D-UP Racing in memory of Dalton Debrick . Our next race will be at KSP on March 30th with Devon Debrick. JZ’s first race of the season will be April 20th in Lawton.

We are doing things a little different for the shootout this yr!! I will not have a car in the TULSA SHOOTOUT! I will be crewing for Justin Zimmerman! Devon tells me last night hey dad I could have ran the shootout this yr! Well it's a little too late now!! We will be back next year with Devon Debrick driving!!

The Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series series has wrapped up for the year! Justin Zimmerman finished 6th overall in the series, STILL after missing 5 races with the series due to racing out of town with USAC. Anthony Nicholson finished 7th, just points behind Justin after missing 5 races as well. This speaks volume of these 2 drivers!! Paul White was within points of a BACK to
BACK championship and finished 2nd. Jason Howell finishes 3rd after missing races as well! Great job guys!!
