Due to the significant rain we’ve received this week, tonight’s racing at BIG O Speedway has been canceled. While we always want to race, track conditions just aren’t where they need to be to deliver the kind of show our drivers and fans both deserve. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. Make plans now for Saturday, July 25th. It’s shaping up to be a great night of racing with 21 or more cars will be $1,000 to win in the Limited class! Thank you again for standing with us. Saturday racing at 8 pm!

What a night at BIG O Speedway.

First and foremost, THANK YOU to every racer, fan, crew member, sponsor, volunteer, and staff member who came out and supported us Saturday night. Getting the gates open these past few weeks was not easy. We faced challenge after challenge and overcame a tremendous amount of adversity along the way.

The work to repair the water leak and rebuild portions of the racing surface meant we were essentially starting over with a new track surface in areas that had been stable for decades. There were long days, late nights, setbacks, and plenty of moments where it would have been easier to throw in the towel. Instead, through hard work, determination, and dedication from so many people, we prevailed and got BIG O Speedway back open.

Was it the perfect racing surface that we have always taken so much pride in providing? No. We hold ourselves to very high standards, and we know it wasn’t quite there yet. But every journey starts somewhere, and Saturday night was an important first step in building this new surface into something special once again.

We especially want to thank those who traveled long distances to race with us, the drivers and teams making their first trip to BIG O Speedway, and our loyal local racers who continue to support us through every challenge. Your patience, understanding, and support mean more than you know.
