While Arana Racing was originally slated to race last weekend’s NHRA event in Norwalk, Ohio, Hector Arana Sr. underwent rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder, forcing the team to miss the event. Right now, the team is focused on his recovery and is working to be able to return to the track again. The team’s next event has yet to be determined.

“While I missed seeing all of the fans at the track last weekend at Norwalk,” Arana Sr. said, “this surgery was something that I needed to have done. With the situation we’re in sponsorship-wise, I felt like it was best to have the surgery now so I could concentrate on getting better and coming back to the race track even stronger. ”

Plain and simple. WE 👏🏼SHOWED 👏🏼 UP 👏🏼. This Arana Racing Powered Buell set a personal best with a 203.06 MPH. Fastest speed for Hector Jr and second fastest in the category. Thank you the fans here are amazing!

NHRA announces complete 2021 Camping World national event class schedule NHRA officials have announced details of its 23-event 70th anniversary season focusing on Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle qualifying days, as well as schedules for specialty series that compete at national events.
