SCUBA divers wanted for paid research study! 💉

The University of Maryland, Baltimore, is seeking certified SCUBA divers to participate in a groundbreaking study on a potential treatment for decompression sickness.

What’s involved:
Receive an injection (placebo or a manufactured form of a human protein, plasma gelsolin)
Spend time in a hyperbaric chamber (98 ft depth equivalent)
Blood and ultrasound monitoring
Follow-up visits at 24 hours, 2 weeks, and 4 weeks

💰 Compensation:
$400 gift card after initial visit
$100 gift card after 4-week follow-up

Study dates:
August 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th
