I had an interesting question yesterday asking about my big stallion Luna Eclipse.
Someone was looking for his show record. It would be 16 years since he had been in a show so most likely this person did not look back far enough in the records. She was very concerned that this horse had not been “proven” because he had not been shown. This was my response. I liked it so much I decided to share it with everybody. 
I showed Eclipse as a young horse in halter and then again a couple times under saddle at four and five years old. He did very well. He won all of his classes, but I’m not into showing any more like many people are. We did some cattle work and trail rides. He also helped me train all the youngsters. I believe you have a picture of me and him ponying Cita when she was two. I also did some classical dressage and working equitation.
It’s funny how people think you can only prove a horse in a show ring. Eclipse has proven himself in so many ways. The least of which has been in the show ring.
