I worked in the finance business for 10 years-in June of 2010 my branch and position was eliminated. I did'nt want to go back into finance business, I want to do something on my own. First thoughts were to open a bakery with my wife Erin. We thought about the positives and negatives of this business. Then I thought-I love working with people and making them smile. I love helping people become bett

er bowlers. I have been bowling for over 23 years and I enjoy the sport as much as anybody in Erie. I thought opening a stand alone pro shop would allow me to share my experience and knowlegde of the sport with others and maybe help them enjoy the sport as much as I do. One thing I strive on is good customer service. I Went to see my brother Patrick Eighmy in Eudora Kansas in september of 2010 and went through a training program that his boss, Jesse James offers at "In the Zone Pro Shop". I learned the in and outs of the pro shop business. Patrick introduced me to Jayhawk bowling and supplies located in lawrence kansas. I learned how to use some high tech equipment and purchased my pro shop package through them in december of 2010. I am very impressed with their customer service and the drilling machine and other pro shop tools that I have received. I will upload pictures of the drill press soon. You can also check out the Tri-oval Press on their Website-www.jayhawkbowling.com I now have great knowledge about this business-it is very exciting. I have my brother on my side as a mentor. My next step was to find and remodel a place. I needed a place that wasnt to big but allowed me to display my drill press and inventory. I needed a place that was very comfortable for people to come into. I found it on the west side corner of 34th and state. Great location, and very supportive landlords. I began the remodeling process in mid december-I am doing all the work myself and the help of family and friends. I am about 80% complete with the remodeling and and very excited to share my place with everyone. It is turning out to be a very modern pro shop, very comfortable to walk into, and relaxing. I hope to open in mid feb. of this year. I will keep everyone updated on the opening date. Opening day will be filled with give aways, food and fun. I have a lot of special programs I am going to offer everyone. I plan on carrying a full line of balls, bags, shoes and accessories. I also offer a number of other serivces. More info on everything will be posted soon. One thing I do plan on doing is being strongly tied into the Greater Erie junior Program. I want to support this program as much as possible. Hi Everyone. With the bowling season coming to an end…I am going to do my final ball raffle fundraiser for the Harborcreek football team
Many people are still headed to city/state and national events I will be doing 4 balls of choice, the new hammer spawn, and a new release from storm announced at a later date(haven’t received confirmation yet, but if it’s the ball everyone says it is it’ll be special 😁

Starting a quick fundraiser for the Erie Amateur memorial open. Steve Benke the tournament director runs an amazing event for Erie bowlers. This event is held on March 28th and 29th. He has decided to honor this event for dad that passed away in June of 2025. With that said. I will be donating proceeds from this raffle to the tournament in his name. Pretty simple $10 per sqaure. Two ball of choice and the new hammer full effect will be raffled off. This thing will fill quick. If it fills by tomorrow I will announce the winners Sunday Thanks everyone

New ball raffle. Lots and lots of exciting releases from the storm bowling company
With tournament season in full throttle. Let’s gets these balls in some hands

Harborcreek huskies started a metro boys bowling team and had great success on the lanes this year winning the metro league. I am going to do this ball raffle/ fundraiser for the boys We are also having a fundraiser at eastway lanes to help support the team I will be there all day and maybe giving some bowling tips and coaching if you want to stop by to support the team
