After yesterday’s trip, Myself, Nate and Luke headed over to Lampe marina to take the rough house out of the water and winterize for the season. We got her loaded on the trailer and pulled out of the water only to discover that the crossmember that supports the front of the boat folded and bent like a taco. Not quite sure how it happened. Not severe damage but enough to slow us down and will need addressed sooner rather than later because shes not sitting correctly on the trailer. But everything can be fixed and it could have been worse. But we got the boat winterized and all the gear unloaded and she’s parked in her resting spot for the winter. Took quite a bit longer than usual but things happen. Anyhow, I want to thank everyone who fished with us this season. It was a pleasure having you onboard. What an incredible season we had. I cant imagine the fishing could get any better. Just an amazing fishery. We look forward to fishing with you next season. Big thanks to Nate, Luke and Paul for all the help and hard work this year. I Couldn’t do it without you guys.
Also a huge thank you to my family, Mom, Lauren and the boys and everyone else for supporting me while I persue my passion for fishing. Means the world to me. Wish my dad could see what our business has become. He wouldn’t believe on how amazing the fishing is.
Now off to unload all the gear and put it away for the winter and then go find the parts I need for the trailer repair. Take care everyone and we will see you next season.

Today we had Stan D and family out with us for our last trip of the season. 20 mph winds out of the south made the lake a little snotty. Sharp 2-4’s Another insane bite. Tried to get the boards out but couldnt keep up with the dipsy and riggers. 24 hit the ice and we made the trek back to the dock slow. Take care guys

Bree, Ashton, and Tony from Meadville fished with us today on another beautiful morning. They were a reschedule from a cancellation day from earlier in the year. We’ve been blessed with some great weather in our late season walleye trips. Headed out and got setup right before sunrise. Another fantastic bite today with just riggers and dipsys. Awesome box of fish for the crew. Nice bigger healthy fish today. Crew boxed their limit with ease. Take care guys

Today we had Amanda and crew from the Kittanning/butler area out for a walleye trip. Another gorgeous day on the water with another incredible walleye bite. Dipsys and riggers doing all the work today. 24 eyes hit the net along worh 2 bonus steelhead. Take care guys. Enjoy the fillets.

Heath W and crew from state college put a beat down on some really nice walleye today. First time charter crew and now they are hooked. Perfect day on the lake with an absolutely perfect bite. Take care guys, enjoy the walleye.

Ashley B and family from the state college area fished with us today. Dead flat calm lake and a perfect pace bite. Nice fish too. 30 eyes hit the ice. Take care guys. See you next year.

Please be sure to adhere to the speed limit* The construction on the Bayfront Parkway has raised some questions and concerns on how to reach waterfront businesses during this time. And we figured we’d make a video on just how easy it is to get to us! As you’re headed East across the Bayfront Parkway, you’ll get to the roundabout. Continue on and exit toward the Bayfront Convention Center. There is also plenty of well labeled signage to help guide you along the way. You will then take a right at the light and continue straight until you reach the stop sign. There is again more signage to help guide you on where you need to go. Once you reach the stop sign, you will then take a left. And you have now made your way down to all of our waterfront businesses.

Scott H and crew from the Kittanning area hit the lake with us today. 2 footers out of the south and some a touch bigger the further we got out. Setup where we started yesterday to find a dead screen. Took some time but the deeper we went the better it got. A couple adjustments and rods started bending. 30 hit the ice for Scott and his crew. 2 bonus Steelies also. Mix sizes but a few big ones. Take care guys.

We had Mike H and crew up today from the Kittanning area. Finally a nice day on the lake this morning. Left over rollers from the west. Setup and it took a little while to get everything firing but once we found our groove it was on. 30 eyes hit the ice for the crew. Boards were good today with 5 and 7 cores with plugs. Dipsy and riggers were on the slower side but they did chip in. Take care guys.

Long time client Lee H. along with his kids Alex and Aiden fished with us today. Finally headed out on to a nice lake. Setup and the bite was on. 18 walleye hit the net for the crew and Aiden got big fish with a walleye measuring 30 inches and just short of 10 lbs. take care guys and see you next year.
